Lead Data Scientist, Core, Level 6

What you'll do

• Act as the organization's subject matter expert for experimentation and causal inference methodologies.
• Lead large projects involving multiple stakeholders to identify new product opportunities and shape strategy.
• Architect, implement, and maintain scalable statistics, machine learning, and data products for internal tools.
• Translate complex statistical concepts into strategic approaches that align with organizational goals and influence executive decisions.
• Conduct in-depth analysis of diverse data sources to identify patterns and provide actionable business context.
• Deliver regular insights share-outs to communicate the consumer voice throughout the organization.
• Manage the data science roadmap, ensuring accurate reporting, measurement, and continuous improvement.
• Utilize AI tools to develop scalable data solutions while maintaining high standards for statistical integrity.

What we're looking for

• Bachelor's degree in a quantitative field or equivalent experience.
• 7+ years of post-Bachelor’s experience in quantitative analysis/data science, or a Master's with 6+ years, or a PhD with 3+ years.
• Advanced proficiency in SQL and Python or R.
• Deep understanding of advanced statistical analysis using libraries like SciPy, statsmodels, or EconML.
• Strong knowledge of predictive modeling, machine learning, and experimentation/causal inference methods.
• Expertise in data orchestration pipelines.
• Experience leading a team for data capture, measurement, and optimization (preferred).
• Experience in product-focused roles at social media, advertising, or mobile technology companies (preferred).
