Lead Cybersecurity Architect, Data

What you'll do

• Architect and assess data security controls across cloud and hybrid platforms including Databricks, Snowflake, AWS, and GCP.
• Define the technical target state for cybersecurity products and drive the achievement of the security strategy.
• Identify opportunities to automate the remediation of recurring issues to improve software application security.
• Lead evaluation sessions with external vendors and internal teams to assess cybersecurity design and technical credentials.
• Perform threat modeling, security design reviews, and risk assessments for complex data flows and distributed systems.
• Propose technical approaches to business stakeholders to meet current and future cybersecurity needs.
• Lead communities of practice to promote the use of leading-edge cybersecurity technologies.

What we're looking for

• Formal training or certification with 5 years of experience in Data Technologies.
• Hands-on practical experience delivering enterprise-level cybersecurity solutions and controls.
• Advanced proficiency in one or more programming languages and automation/continuous delivery methods.
• Proficiency in all aspects of the Software Development Life Cycle.
• Advanced understanding of agile methodologies, including continuous integration, delivery, and application resiliency.
• Practical cloud-native experience and demonstrated proficiency in technical disciplines like public cloud, AI, or machine learning.
• Proven experience in data security architecture with a track record of delivering enterprise-scale controls (preferred).
• Preferred certifications include AWS Certified Solutions Architect, Databricks, Snowflake, or Data Engineering.
