Lead AI / ML Engineer

What you'll do

• Develop and implement AI models and solutions that prioritize ethical and responsible practices.
• Detect, evaluate, and mitigate risks related to bias, fairness, robustness, explainability, and privacy in AI systems.
• Participate in the full AI development lifecycle including data preparation, coding, testing, and deployment.
• Optimize and maintain existing AI systems to ensure ongoing performance and adherence to ethical standards.
• Identify and correct biases within datasets and machine learning models.
• Document AI development processes and maintain transparent records of methodologies and decisions.
• Contribute to the creation of internal guidelines, best practices, and technical training for responsible AI.
• Support client sales conversations and the preparation of project proposals.

What we're looking for

• Must have a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, AI, Data Science, or a related technical field.
• Must have at least 12 years of work experience if no degree is held, or 6 years if an Associate's degree is held.
• Must have at least 6 years of experience developing and deploying machine learning models and AI solutions.
• Must have experience in AI model fairness, transparency, explainability, robustness, soundness, and privacy.
• Must be proficient in programming languages such as Python, R, or Java.
• Must have familiarity with AI frameworks like TensorFlow or PyTorch, and big data tools like Hadoop or Spark.
• Must have the ability to work with complex datasets, perform data preprocessing, and manage cloud services like AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
