Junior Cloud/SecDevOps Engineer

What you'll do

• Monitor operational and development systems to investigate and resolve reported user issues.
• Integrate security architecture and engineering efforts into the information technology life-cycle.
• Deploy and maintain security controls and mechanisms within an Infrastructure as Code (IaC) cloud environment.
• Perform technical design, development, integration, verification, and validation of systems.
• Administer IaC security by configuring necessary components and software using IaC utilities.
• Manage software changes and perform routine technical troubleshooting following established procedures.
• Track and plan technical tasks using Agile methodologies.
• Deploy and patch systems to ensure continuous maintenance and improvement.

What we're looking for

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent experience; Cyber Security and IaC certifications may be considered in lieu of a degree.
• 2 years of general experience.
• DOD Top Secret Clearance.
• Ability to work collaboratively and independently in a small team environment both in-person and remote.
• Strong communication skills and self-starter attitude.
• Experience with Terraform, Ansible, Kubernetes, Istio, and AWS services (EKS, EC2, S3, RDS, Cloudwatch) (preferred).
• Experience with Linux, Eclipse, Vscode, Gitlab, Jira, and Confluence (preferred).
• US Citizenship DOD Top Secret Clearance is required.
