What you'll do

  • Acquire, integrate, and prepare data from multiple sources for operational reporting and decision support.
  • Design and implement ETL/ELT pipelines using SQL Server and Databricks with PySpark for scalable processing.
  • Develop and maintain curated, analysis-ready datasets while ensuring data quality and lineage.
  • Apply statistical methods, data mining, and machine learning to generate predictive analytics for military missions.
  • Create Power BI dashboards and integrate data products into the Power Platform for automated reporting.
  • Process and analyze unstructured data for text and language-focused use cases using basic NLP techniques.
  • Assist in implementing LLM capabilities including prompting patterns and retrieval-style workflows.
  • Document data sources, transformations, and analytical methodologies to ensure transparency and operational continuity.

What we're looking for

  • Must be a U.S. citizen.
  • Must possess or be able to obtain a Top Secret clearance.
  • Bachelor's degree in quantitative science, social science, or a related discipline.
  • 1 to experience in a related field.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite including Word, Excel, and Access.
  • Working knowledge of SQL Server (SQL/T-SQL) for querying, joins, indexing, and relational schemas.
  • Foundational programming skills in Python or R for analysis, data manipulation, and machine learning workflows.
  • Experience with Databricks and Apache Spark (preferably PySpark), Power BI, and the Power Platform (Power Apps and Power Automate).
