Junior Engineer, Video Technology

What you'll do

• Write, test, and maintain code, scripts, and automation tools to support video platforms.
• Implement enhancements for video technology platforms, workflows, and supporting systems.
• Integrate video platforms with software applications, network systems, and other technologies.
• Perform functional, integration, and system testing to validate configurations and platform changes.
• Monitor system logs and performance data to identify issues and assist in troubleshooting.
• Execute break-fix activities, configuration changes, and software updates following established procedures.
• Participate in deployments by performing pre-checks, implementation tasks, and post-change validation.
• Create and maintain technical documentation for procedures, configurations, and troubleshooting information.

What we're looking for

• Bachelor's degree or an equivalent combination of coursework and relevant professional experience.
• 2 to 5 years of relevant work experience.
• Proficiency in programming or scripting languages such as Python, TypeScript, or JavaScript.
• Familiarity with Linux systems and command line interfaces (CLI).
• Knowledge of video streaming technologies including HLS, DASH, and adaptive bitrate streaming.
• Exposure to cloud services and technologies such as AWS.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills combined with effective communication.
• Ability to troubleshoot technical issues and perform system monitoring and log analysis.
