What you'll do

Develop and manage complex data flows and make significant enhancements to existing pipelines.
Perform data extraction, transformation, and loading (ETL) for both new and existing systems.
Troubleshoot complex problems and provide customer support for the ETL process.
Resolve hardware and software compatibility issues and interface design considerations.
Conduct complex investigations and tests to ensure data quality and system integrity.
Research emerging technologies to determine their impact on application execution.
Write and maintain technical documentation and project progress communications.
Advise hardware engineers on machine characteristics like storage capacity and processing speed.

What we're looking for

Must be a US Citizen.
Must currently possess a Top Secret SCI with Polygraph clearance.
Must have 8+ years of related data engineering and ETL experience.
Must have a Bachelor's or Technology degree in Engineering or a related field, or equivalent 5 years of job-related experience.
Must have demonstrated experience with Java/J2EE, XML, JSON, and Python.
Must have demonstrated experience with relational databases, search architecture, and data visualization tools.
Must be familiar with Windows, Linux, cloud infrastructure, and source code management tools like GitHub or Jenkins.
Must be familiar with ETL frameworks such as SAFE FME, Pentaho, or NiFi.
