What you'll do

Develop and maintain web applications using Core Java (Java 17+), JSP, AJAX, and jQuery.
Build and secure Java REST APIs using application certificates and scalable request monitoring.
Manage database operations using JDBC, DAO patterns, and MariaDB (MySQL) without using frameworks.
Deploy and configure applications on Apache Tomcat and manage HTTPD web servers.
Implement LDAP authentication and authorization solutions for custom security requirements.
Handle PKI infrastructure tasks including X.509 certificate validation and OpenSSL key pair management.
Perform Linux system administration and manage secure data transmission using SSH and Putty.
Write clean, maintainable code for Jakarta Servlet API request handling and session management.

What we're looking for

Must possess an active Top Secret SCI with Polygraph clearance.
Must be a US Citizen.
10+ years of related experience.
Expert-level knowledge of Core Java (not Spring Boot), Java 17+, JVM, JRE, JDK, and Jakarta Servlet API.
Proficiency in Apache Tomcat, JDBC, MariaDB (MySQL), HTML5, CSS, JavaScript, AJAX, jQuery, and REST API development.
Experience with Linux system administration, LDAP authentication, SSH, Putty, and software version control tools like Git/GitHub.
Knowledge of PKI infrastructure, X.509 certificates, OpenSSL, and Java Cryptography Architecture (JCA) including AES, RSA, and ECC.
Experience with Python integration, writing Confluence plugins, and Windows Active Directory Certificate Services (preferred).
