What you'll do

  • Develop and maintain backend Java-based microservices within a distributed systems environment.
  • Build scalable, resilient APIs and create reusable JavaScript UI components.
  • Write and optimize SQL queries for relational databases and manage NoSQL data stores.
  • Execute the full software development lifecycle including requirements analysis, design, coding, testing, and deployment.
  • Automate routine tasks through scripting and develop programs for complex system configurations.
  • Create and maintain technical documentation regarding system configurations, processes, and service records.
  • Manage codebase health by regularly updating dependencies and maintaining environment management best practices.

What we're looking for

  • A university degree is preferred.
  • 2+ years of experience is required; 3+ years are preferred.
  • At least 2 years of experience developing backend applications using Java with Spring or Spring Boot is required.
  • At least 2 years of experience working with JavaScript for frontend development and building UI components is required.
  • At least 2 years of experience with the AWS cloud platform and RDBMS or NoSQL databases is required.
  • Experience with Agile methodology, CI/CD, and DevOps is preferred.
