As a January 2027 - Leap Software Engineer, you will join the Leap Program to transition from college into a full-time engineering career. You will work within an engineering team to build scalable applications and features using modern programming languages, traditional and newer database platforms, integration technologies like APIs and messaging, and front-end frameworks. Your daily responsibilities include managing the full software development lifecycle, including requirements, design, development, testing, and deployment through automated pipelines. You will also integrate AI tools into your workflow to deliver cutting-edge capabilities. The role requires proficiency in programming fundamentals, data structures, and problem-solving. This position focuses on developing technology that powers financial outcomes for individuals, employers, and institutions, specifically addressing the complex business challenges involved in managing large-scale assets and helping customers achieve long-term financial goals.

What we're looking for
Applicants must have earned or be on track to earn a bachelor’s degree in computer science, software engineering, or a related field by the start date.
Candidates must demonstrate foundational software engineering skills in either Java or Python during a required skills assessment.
Must possess an understanding of programming fundamentals and data structures.
