IT Business Analysis Intern
The IT Business Analysis Intern joins a diverse support team of business, technical, and consulting resources to support key business processes within the FI/CO module of SAP ERP and Central Finance systems. This role involves supporting General Ledger, Fixed Assets, Banking, and Treasury modules by implementing applications across multiple divisions and configuring new functionality. The intern will develop RICEF specifications for custom development, provide project metrics for milestones, and align system solutions with changing business requirements. Key technical skills include knowledge of SAP FI/CO master data like Chart of Accounts, cost centers, and profit centers, as well as experience with data analysis and query tools. The role focuses on solving business issues by integrating SAP modules and managing application development enhancements within the corporate finance and project systems environment.
Support business processes within the FI/CO module of SAP ERP and Central Finance systems.
Support the implementation and configuration of General Ledger, Fixed Assets, Banking, and Treasury modules.
Develop RICEF specifications to complete custom development based on business requirements.
Provide project metrics to track key milestones and deliverables.
Align system solutions with changing business requirements to build customer relationships.
Monitor new technologies within the SAP FI/CO area to align with company goals.
Support the development and enforcement of policies for application development enhancements.
Resolve business issues by acting as a technical resource for internal teams.
What we're looking for
Applicants must be pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Finance/Accounting, Computer Science, Computer Information Systems, or a related field.
Must be a U.S. citizen to obtain the required security clearance.
Basic knowledge of General Ledger and Fixed Asset Modules is helpful (preferred).
Basic working knowledge of Treasury, Cash Management, and Banking in SAP is helpful (preferred).
Basic understanding of integration of SAP FI/CO modules with other SAP modules is helpful (preferred).
Basic experience with Data Analysis and Query Tools supporting the FI/CO business user community is helpful (preferred).
Ability to learn to define SAP system requirements and configure applications based on those requirements (preferred).
Basic understanding of RICEF specifications to support custom development for FI/CO and PS business design is helpful (preferred).
