The IT Architecture Manager leads the delivery of architectural strategies across corporate functions and enterprise business systems to ensure scalable, secure, and innovative technology solutions. This role involves managing a team of professionals, mentoring architects on integration approaches, data authority, and non-functional requirements while establishing peer reviews and reusable patterns. The manager is responsible for overseeing system blueprints, data models, and integration frameworks for both IT and OT environments. Key responsibilities include integrating emerging technologies like cloud platforms, microservices, and IoT into the architecture to enhance interoperability and performance. The role requires a strategic outlook, business acumen, and a results-driven approach to manage project portfolios and budgets. Candidates must possess a bachelor's degree in a related field, over ten years of diversified IT experience, and at least three years of leadership experience to navigate complex infrastructure requirements.
Develop and implement IT/OT architectural strategies to create scalable, secure, and innovative solutions aligned with business goals.
Lead the design of system blueprints, data models, and integration frameworks for both IT and OT environments.
Oversee the integration of emerging technologies like cloud platforms, microservices, and IoT into existing architectures.
Manage the day-to-day operations, mentorship, and performance management of a team of IT professionals.
Review and shape solution designs while making final architectural decisions on issues escalated by the team.
Establish peer review processes, technical guardrails, and reusable patterns to ensure consistent design quality.
Partner with leadership to develop business cases for technology initiatives and manage the department project portfolio.
Ensure all architectural designs comply with security standards and corporate policies to mitigate risk.
What we're looking for
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Management Information Systems, Engineering, Business, or another computer-related field is required.
10+ years of diversified IT experience is required.
3+ years of experience leading professional staff is required.
Experience designing and implementing scalable, secure, and innovative IT/OT architectural strategies.
Ability to lead the design of system blueprints, data models, and integration frameworks.
Proficiency in integrating emerging technologies such as cloud platforms, microservices, and IoT into architectures.
Ability to manage team operations, including performance reviews, coaching, and talent development.
Strong ability to communicate complex ideas clearly and credibly in both verbal and written formats.
