Senior Software Engineer, macOS System Experience

As a Senior Software Engineer, macOS System Experience, you will join the macOS System Experience team to build and evolve core components of the desktop operating system. Your daily responsibilities involve navigating a large codebase to drive features forward and solving complex problems creatively for critical system elements including Dock, Control Center, Notifications, Login, Mission Control, Spaces, and Stage Manager. To succeed in this role, you must possess proficiency in Swift, SwiftUI, and Objective-C, along with strong agentic programming expertise. You will also need excellent collaboration skills, a forward-thinking mindset, and the ability to prioritize tasks while remaining customer focused. This position focuses on developing the foundational system experience for macOS, ensuring these essential desktop features function seamlessly within the operating system's architecture to provide a high-quality user experience.
