What you'll do

  • Design touch sensor modules including electro-magnetic and circuit modeling.
  • Define end-to-end system requirements for sensors, signal processing, ASIC performance, and algorithms.
  • Scope new sensor technologies and conduct proof-of-concept investigations.
  • Review and define algorithms for signal and noise conditioning.
  • Optimize designs across mechanical, material, process, and manufacturing boundaries.
  • Perform failure-mode and root-cause analysis using system-level problem solving and statistical data.
  • Support new product definition through engineering analysis and competitive research.

What we're looking for

  • Bachelor's degree required; Master's or Ph.D. in electrical engineering or a related field is preferred.
  • Strong fundamentals in analog, mixed-signal, and electro-magnetic design.
  • Proficiency in simulation and modeling tools such as FEA (Comsol, ANSYS, Maxwell), MATLAB, Python, or SPICE.
  • Experience with system-level design and multi-disciplinary optimization across mechanical, material, and manufacturing boundaries.
  • Ability to perform failure-mode analysis and root-cause analysis using statistical data.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Solid teamwork and leadership skills.
