Investment Bank Internal Audit, Vice President, Data Scientist

What you'll do

• Refine and prototype advanced analytics ideas to strengthen audit assurance and efficiency.
• Partner with stakeholders to frame problems and confirm requirements for new analytics projects.
• Define expected benefits and gather empirical evidence to support project prioritization.
• Lead feasibility work including environment setup, data acquisition, and proof-of-concept development.
• Present findings and recommendations to decision-makers to secure Go/No-Go outcomes.
• Produce clear documentation and hand off development-ready artifacts to product owners.
• Support teams in understanding data governance and obtaining required use-case approvals.

• Demonstrated leadership and influencing skills to gain alignment across varied stakeholder groups.
• Advanced knowledge of machine learning methods, deep learning frameworks, and natural language processing techniques.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to assess feasibility and translate ideas into actionable prototypes.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills to explain complex concepts clearly.
• Experience managing multiple initiatives concurrently using Agile delivery practices.
• Hands-on technical proficiency in data analysis and visualization tools.
• Strong documentation discipline to produce development-ready artifacts and decision materials.
• Experience building proof-of-concept prototypes and transitioning them to delivery teams (preferred).
