Vice President Data Scientist, Investment Bank Internal Audit

What you'll do

• Refine and prototype advanced analytics ideas to strengthen assurance and improve efficiency.
• Partner with audit stakeholders to translate raw concepts into development-ready prototypes.
• Facilitate stakeholder sessions to define problem statements and confirm shared requirements.
• Gather empirical evidence and define expected benefits to support project prioritization.
• Present findings and recommendations to decision-makers to secure Go/No-Go outcomes.
• Lead feasibility studies including environment setup, data acquisition, and prototype iteration.
• Produce technical documentation and artifacts for seamless hand-off to product owners.
• Advise teams on data governance and required use-case approvals for innovative testing methods.

• Advanced knowledge of machine learning methods, deep learning frameworks, and natural language processing techniques.

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills to explain complex concepts clearly.
• Experience managing multiple initiatives concurrently using Agile delivery practices.
• Hands-on technical proficiency in data analysis and visualization tools.
• Strong documentation discipline to produce development-ready artifacts and decision materials.
• Experience with proof-of-concept prototypes, audit/risk environments, and senior leader facilitation (preferred).
