The Intern, Electrical Engineering will join the engineering team to learn the design and development of electrical systems for integrating electrical and electronic equipment on military and commercial aircraft and ground stations. The intern will create system wiring diagrams, circuit breaker panels, and control panels using CAD tools. Key responsibilities include researching engineering drawings and coordinating design activities with Systems Engineering, Manufacturing, and Production to meet requirements at minimum cost. The role involves developing Avionics Systems, RF, LAN, Data Processing, Power Distribution Systems, Electrical Loads analysis, and Load shedding schemes, while supporting system testing and integration. Required skills include a technical degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field. Preferred experience includes CAD and PLM software like NX and Teamcenter, along with Siemens Capital software knowledge.
Create system wiring diagrams, circuit breaker panels, and control panels using CAD tools.
Research and prepare engineering drawings for military and commercial aircraft.
Coordinate design activities with Systems Engineering, Manufacturing, and Production teams.
Develop avionics systems, RF, LAN, and data processing components.
Design power distribution systems and perform electrical load analyses.
Develop load shedding schemes for aircraft and ground station equipment.
Support the testing and integration of electrical systems on aircraft platforms.
What we're looking for
Must be pursuing a Bachelor’s, Master’s, or PhD in Electrical Engineering, Electrical Engineering Technology, Computer Science, or a related technical degree.
Must be a U.S. citizen to obtain a required security clearance.
Skills or knowledge of CAD and PLM software, including NX and Teamcenter (preferred).
Knowledge of Siemens Capital software (preferred).
