The Intelligence Analyst - Level 2 or 3 (AHT) joins the Northrop Grumman Space Systems team to support airborne signals intelligence (SIGINT) operations. This role involves analyzing ASIP mission data, logs, and performance metrics to identify trends and anomalies impacting mission effectiveness. The analyst performs data flow and quality control checks to ensure end-to-end integrity from collection through processing, exploitation, and dissemination. Key responsibilities include reviewing ASIP tuning controls, validating configuration updates, and developing documentation for data analysis and quality checks. The position requires collaboration with operators, engineers, and mission planners to optimize sensor outputs. Essential skills include intelligence analysis, SIGINT operations, and familiarity with sensor data. Candidates must possess strong analytical, critical-thinking, and problem-solving abilities to communicate technical information to diverse stakeholders.
Analyze ASIP mission data, logs, and performance metrics to identify trends and anomalies.
Perform data flow and quality control checks to ensure end-to-end data integrity from collection to dissemination.
Review and validate ASIP tuning controls and configuration updates to optimize mission performance.
Develop and maintain documentation, checklists, and processes for data analysis and quality checks.
Communicate findings and recommended corrective actions to system engineers, operators, and program leadership.
Create standard operating procedures and best practices for continuous improvement of mission analytics.
What we're looking for
Requires an active U.S. government Top Secret/SCI security clearance at time of application.
U.S. Citizenship is required.
Bachelor's degree and 2 years of relevant experience; 0 years of relevant experience with a Master's; or 4 years of experience in lieu of a degree.
Bachelor's degree and 5 years of relevant experience; 3 years of relevant experience with a Master's; 2 years of relevant experience with a PhD; or 4 years of experience in lieu of a degree.
Experience with intelligence analysis, SIGINT operations, or related mission analysis.
Familiarity with sensor data, mission logs, or technical system outputs.
Strong analytical, critical-thinking, and problem-solving skills.
Ability to clearly document findings and communicate technical information to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Direct experience with ASIP or other airborne SIGINT systems (preferred).
Experience performing data flow and quality control checks in an operational or test environment (preferred).
Background in electronic warfare, ISR, or related mission systems (preferred).
Experience working with cross-functional teams (preferred).
