The Innovation Accelerator Principal Product Manager joins the Innovation Accelerator team within Product Development Data Sciences. This role leads the concept, prototyping, development, scaling, and value delivery of digital, agentic AI, and data-driven solutions designed to enhance decision-making and efficient clinical development across the R&D ecosystem. You will manage the full product lifecycle, owning the roadmap, backlog, and sprint execution while translating user needs into clearly defined requirements. Key responsibilities include collaborating with engineering, UX, and data science teams to deliver products for scientific or quantitative users. Required skills include expertise in product operations, agile methods, and backlog management. The role specifically addresses the technical challenge of deploying agentic AI solutions and building SaaS products to support analysis and decision-making within the healthcare and biotechnology sectors.
Manage the full product lifecycle from initial concept and prototyping through development and launch.
Develop product visions, strategies, and KPIs aligned with functional objectives and industry trends.
Own the product roadmap and backlog while managing sprint execution and cross-functional priorities.
Translate user needs and business challenges into clearly defined product requirements for technical teams.
Collaborate with engineering, UX, and data science teams to ensure products meet scientific and technical needs.
Identify cross-initiative risks, constraints, and dependencies to support risk mitigation and resource planning.
Communicate product status, value, and risks to functional stakeholders and governance bodies.
What we're looking for
You have a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Life Sciences, or a related field.
You have a Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Life Sciences, or a related field (preferred).
You have at least 8 years of professional experience in product management, or 6 years with an advanced degree.
You have specialized expertise in product development and cross-functional collaboration within life sciences or technology domains.
You have 4+ years of experience in at least two of the following: healthcare/biotech, digital/SaaS products, scientific/quantitative products, or agentic AI.
You have working knowledge of agile methods, backlog management, and sprint planning.
You have proven ability to lead product workstreams in complex, cross-functional projects.
You have familiarity with data science concepts and/or early-phase R&D product development (preferred).
