Join a small but growing team as an Infrastructure Reliability Engineer, where you will own the full lifecycle of core self-hosted developer tools such as GitHub Enterprise Server and CircleCI. Your day-to-day responsibilities include designing automated systems for patching, backups, and upgrades, scaling infrastructure to support rapid growth, and using Terraform to manage environments. You’ll also operate Docker and Kubernetes on cloud platforms like AWS or GCP, define SLOs, build monitoring and alerting systems, and lead incident response efforts. Ideal candidates have experience with production systems, Infrastructure-as-Code tools, scripting languages, and CI/CD pipelines, as well as a strong focus on automation and end-to-end system ownership.

What you'll do

Own the lifecycle of core self-hosted developer tools.
Design and implement automated systems for patching, backups, and upgrades.
Scale infrastructure to support a fast-growing engineering organization.
Define and maintain SLOs for service availability, reliability, and performance.
Build and maintain monitoring, alerting, and observability for developer tool services.

What we're looking for

Experience operating production systems using Docker and Kubernetes.
Proficiency with at least one cloud platform (AWS, GCP, or Azure).
Expertise in managing infrastructure with Infrastructure-as-Code tools like Terraform.
Strong problem-solving skills with a focus on automation and scripting experience.
Ability to own systems end-to-end, from design to incident resolution.
Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and developer tooling.
Background in SRE or hybrid SWE/DevOps roles.
