As an experienced Reliability Engineer at Anduril, you will join the Group 1-2 Unmanned Aircraft Systems (UAS) programs team to ensure product reliability and performance. Ideal candidates have a B.S., at least 5 years of experience in reliability engineering or design development for safety-critical systems, and knowledge of relevant military standards. Familiarity with HALT/HASS testing and expertise in FMEA/FMECA, predictive modeling, and Fault Tree Analysis are preferred. This role demands hands-on involvement throughout the product lifecycle to ensure compliance and continuous improvement in a high-stakes defense or aerospace environment.

What you'll do

  • Lead Failure Modes & Effects Analysis to implement product improvements.
  • Perform predictive reliability analysis using Anduril requirements and industry standards.
  • Develop qualification test plans and execute test campaigns with Test Engineering.
  • Use Weibull analysis on data from qualification tests and fielded assets.
  • Drive root cause analysis and corrective action implementation for deployed products.

What we're looking for

  • 5+ years experience as Reliability Engineer or Design/Development Engineer in defense/aerospace.
  • B.S. degree required; M.S. preferred, especially in engineering disciplines.
  • Expertise in reliability analysis techniques including FMEA/FMECA and Weibull analysis.
  • Experience with MIL-HDBK-217Plus, MIL-HDBK-472, and relevant military standards.
  • Hands-on experience setting up Reliability Engineering frameworks for product development.
