As an Information Systems Security Manager, you will serve as the principal cybersecurity authority for multiple system authorization packages throughout their full lifecycle. You will manage the RMF process from end-to-end, including categorizing systems, selecting and tailoring controls, overseeing assessment activities, and maintaining a continuous monitoring posture after authorization. This role involves supervising a team of ISSOs, reviewing their work, and consolidating authoritative packages within eMASS. You will coordinate directly with Authorizing Officials and program leadership to resolve findings and manage POA&Ms. The position requires expertise in NIST SP 800-53, 800-37, and 800-137 standards, as well as experience with CNSSI 1253 and DoD-specific overlays. You will ensure Department of War information systems remain defensible against evolving threats while managing compliance for complex technical environments involving cloud-hosted systems like AWS, Azure, or GCP.
