Information System Security Manager

What you'll do

• Manage the operational cybersecurity posture of assigned networks in coordination with NOC/SOC and Cloud Teams.
• Facilitate the approval process for Authorization to Operate (ATO), Authority to Extend (ATE), and Interconnection Security Agreements (ISA).
• Develop, implement, and maintain security policies and documentation to ensure compliance with NIST, RMF, and FISMA standards.
• Perform risk assessments, vulnerability assessments, and security audits to identify system vulnerabilities and provide remediation strategies.
• Conduct continuous monitoring of security controls to protect classified and unclassified data.
• Act as the primary point of contact for security issues and coordinate incident response reporting.
• Maintain and track critical security documentation including System Security Plans (SSPs) and Plan of Actions & Milestones (POA&Ms).
• Provide security training and awareness programs for personnel operating DoD systems.

What we're looking for

• Must be a US Citizen with an active Top Secret clearance and the ability to obtain a SCI.
• Bachelor’s degree with 8+ years of experience or Master’s degree with 6+ years of experience.
• CISSP, CISM, or similar cybersecurity certification.
• In-depth knowledge of DoD cybersecurity policies, frameworks, and compliance standards including NIST, RMF, FISMA, ICD 503, and JSIG.
• Experience with cloud computing and building/maintaining an ATO for cloud-based information systems.
• Experience with system security engineering, risk management, and vulnerability assessments.
• Proficiency with common cybersecurity tools such as firewalls, IDS/IPS, SIEM, and endpoint protection.
• Active TS/SCI clearance (preferred); advanced certifications like CISA or CEH; experience with cATO and cloud security certifications (preferred).
