As an Information System Security Officer (ISSO) at GDIT, you will join a highly skilled team supporting customer activities and ensuring the security of information systems. Your daily responsibilities include coordinating and implementing cybersecurity policies, maintaining operational security through customized Risk Management Frameworks, evaluating security solutions for classified information processing, and preparing technical documentation such as Systems Security Plans and Certification and Accreditation packages. You will also perform vulnerability scanning and risk assessment analysis using NIST standards and support project management review boards. The role requires strong knowledge of AWS infrastructure and cloud security, along with experience in RMF and other cybersecurity frameworks. Ideal candidates possess a Bachelor’s degree in a related field, 5+ years of relevant experience, and TS/SCI clearance with an active polygraph.

What we're looking for

US citizenship and TS/SCI clearance with active polygraph required.
At least 5 years of experience in coordinating and implementing cybersecurity policies.
Strong knowledge of AWS infrastructure, commercial cloud, and cloud security.
Understanding of NIST standards (800-53, 800-37) and RMF processes.
Excellent written and oral communication skills for technical analysis reports.
