Information Security Engineer, Senior

What you'll do

• Design, implement, and manage policies and procedures to ensure database and software security.
• Write Configuration Management plans and audit software change procedures to verify compliance.
• Conduct design reviews, configuration audits, and evaluations of software products to ensure baseline control.
• Implement Configuration Management processes within DevSecOps Agile development environments.
• Assess information systems to determine risk exposures and develop prevention procedures.
• Use tools like JIRA, Puppet, Confluence, or GitHub and scripting to manage configurations.
• Mentor and supervise team members while working independently to solve complex problems.

What we're looking for

• 7+ years of experience writing Configuration Management Plans and auditing software change procedures, development, testing, and documentation.
• 7+ years of experience in design reviews, configuration audits, and evaluations of software products to ensure baseline control.
• Knowledge of implementing Configuration Management processes in DevSecOps Agile development environments.
• Knowledge of Configuration Management tools such as JIRA, Puppet, Confluence, GitHub, and scripting.
• Bachelor's degree in STEM.
• Experience designing, implementing, and managing policies and procedures to ensure database and software security (preferred).
• Experience assessing information systems for risk exposures and developing prevention procedures and policies (preferred).
• TS/SCI clearance.
