Required skills include experience with SQL, relational databases, logical data modeling, APIs, and enterprise system integrations within a framework of HIPAA and FDA software lifecycle processes.

What you'll do

  • Define and maintain the logical information architecture, including business definitions, metadata standards, and data models.
  • Lead cross-functional data discovery and requirements activities to align platform capabilities with engineering and clinical needs.
  • Establish and govern enterprise data standards for ownership, stewardship, quality, and lifecycle management.
  • Analyze and document data flows, integrations, and information exchanges across platform applications and enterprise systems.
  • Partner with software engineering teams to incorporate data architecture, privacy, and security requirements into solution designs.
  • Define and maintain role-based access control (RBAC) and data access governance processes with legal and cybersecurity stakeholders.
  • Develop and maintain a catalog of data assets and metadata to improve information discoverability and reuse.
  • Establish data quality metrics and monitoring processes to support regulatory compliance and advanced analytics.

What we're looking for

  • Bachelor's degree with 10+ years of relevant experience OR Master's degree with 8+ years of relevant experience OR PhD.
  • For Baccalaureate degrees earned outside of the United States, a degree that satisfies the requirements of 8 C.F.R. § 214.2(h)(4)(iii)(A) is required.
  • Candidates must possess unrestricted U.S. work authorization at the time of hire and for the duration of employment.
  • Extensive experience with software architecture, APIs, enterprise system integrations, and software development lifecycles (preferred).
  • Extensive experience with relational databases, SQL, logical data modeling, entity relationship diagramming, and information architecture principles (preferred).
  • Extensive experience with data warehouses, analytics platforms, reporting solutions, or cloud-based data ecosystems (preferred).
