What you'll do

  • Lead the conceptualization, design, and analysis of new indices and scalable capabilities.
  • Manage the team backlog by translating value stream priorities into clear, executable work.
  • Hire, onboard, coach, and perform performance management for all team members.
  • Act as the technical escalation point to resolve complex challenges and unblock delivery.
  • Ensure team adoption of agile practices and agreed operating standards.
  • Provide technical expertise during internal and external stakeholder engagements and client discussions.
  • Review and mentor team members to maintain high standards for analytical quality and innovation.

What we're looking for

  • 8+ years of experience in R&D, portfolio/index design, or related technical roles.
  • Experience directly managing and developing people.
  • Extensive industry knowledge of trends in core index, asset, wealth, and capital market industries.
  • Experience owning team backlogs and leading delivery in an agile or iterative operating model.
  • Experience supporting client or stakeholder engagements through technical expertise.
  • Advanced degree, MBA, or equivalent experience (preferred).
  • CFA or PhD (preferred).
