IDCS Systems Engineer

What you'll do

• Install, configure, and test operating systems and application software for customer orders.
• Collaborate with IT and security departments to set up infrastructure and customer VPNs.
• Develop and maintain custom scripts in PowerShell or Python to automate processes and improve efficiency.
• Monitor and troubleshoot application performance issues while maintaining customer-owned equipment in secure environments.
• Support the management and operation of large-scale deployment networks.
• Participate in designing information and operational support systems.
• Coordinate with customers, vendors, and IT personnel throughout project lifecycles to resolve technical issues.

What we're looking for

• Completed Bachelor’s Degree, trade school, or relevant work experience is required.
• 3-5 years of experience in a similar role is required.
• Ability to write, debug, and maintain code in Microsoft PowerShell and Python for automation.
• Expertise in installing, maintaining, and troubleshooting BIOS firmware and device drivers.
• Experience installing, configuring, and maintaining Linux-based operating systems is preferred.
• Understanding of deploying and managing mobile devices is preferred.
• Intermediate proficiency in Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends, and lift up to 50 lbs.
