As a Hardware Validation Engineer - Apple Watch, you will join the watch system validation team to ensure all new and existing hardware features are fully validated on the bench. You will lead bench validation efforts during the prototype phase to identify key issues and drive improvements in system design while collaborating with cross-functional teams to define coverage. Your daily work involves developing tools and automation to expand validation, defining factory test coverage, and triaging prototype build failures. The role requires expertise in board level bring up, signal and power integrity, and testing host interfaces like USB, MIPI, I2C, SPI, UART, SPMI, and PCIe. You will utilize test and measurement equipment including oscilloscopes, probes, DMMs, VNAs, and power analyzers while utilizing scripting for automation and data analysis in the silicon IC and SoC domain.
