What you'll do

Own and evolve PACE's governance tooling to accurately capture compute resource requests and utilization.
Design and oversee a scalable support model including tier-1, tier-2, and tier-3 engineering escalation groups.
Partner with Data & Analytics Lead to build dashboards and reports that track infrastructure savings and efficiency opportunities.
Identify system anomalies and operational bottlenecks affecting ML compute costs and performance.
Produce strategic analyses informing executive decisions on ML compute investment and allocation.

What we're looking for

5+ years of experience in governance/operations, data engineering, or technical program management.
Proven ability to design and operate complex systems from the ground up.
Strong cross-functional collaboration skills with engineers and leadership.
Expertise in SQL and building analytical dashboards using tools like Tableau or Grafana.
Experience managing SRE and hierarchical technical support systems.
AI fluency and capability to adapt quickly to new workflows.
