As a Governance Operations Analyst on the Enterprise Data Governance team, you will support day-to-day operations to ensure secure and scalable management of enterprise data assets. You will perform governance reviews, metadata validation, sensitive data classification, and access administration while identifying opportunities for automation and AI-enabled process improvements. Your daily work involves monitoring operational trends, managing Agile delivery activities like sprint planning and backlog management, and maintaining comprehensive documentation and knowledge articles. The role requires proficiency in Microsoft 365, Jira, and Confluence, with the ability to navigate complex data governance capabilities including metadata management and data protection. You will solve problems related to data quality and access control while utilizing tools such as SQL, Power BI, or Power Automate to enhance service delivery within a technical environment focused on enterprise-wide data integrity.
Execute daily enterprise data governance operations and processes to ensure accurate and efficient service delivery.
Perform governance reviews, operational validations, and exception monitoring to identify issues requiring follow-up.
Conduct metadata validation, sensitive data classification, and other operational reviews for enterprise capabilities.
Manage user access requests by validating permissions and ensuring alignment with least-privilege policies.
Identify recurring trends and opportunities to improve operational efficiency and standardize work processes.
Propose and test automation, AI, and process improvements to reduce manual effort and enhance service quality.
Support Agile delivery activities including backlog management, sprint planning, and meeting facilitation.
Create and maintain governance documentation, knowledge articles, and templates for consistent program execution.
What we're looking for
U.S. citizenship is required.
High school diploma or GED.
1+ years of experience supporting business operations, business analysis, governance, or project coordination.
Experience coordinating operational activities, maintaining documentation, or supporting business processes.
Experience with Microsoft 365 and collaboration tools such as Jira and Confluence.
Ability to pay strict attention to detail while managing multiple priorities.
Experience supporting operational functions like data governance, compliance, or access management (preferred).
Knowledge of technologies such as SQL, Power BI, Power Automate, or AI (preferred); Bachelor's degree in Business, Information Systems, or Data Analytics (preferred).
