What you'll do

Develop and execute commodity strategies for connectors and cables/harness to improve cost, quality, and supply chain resilience.
Lead the RFI/RFQ/RFP process and manage strategic sourcing for all cable and harness components.
Manage business relationships with Contract Manufacturers to ensure continuity of supply, risk management, and production execution.
Perform detailed TCO analysis on quote submissions to make data-driven decisions regarding supplier selection and costs.
Negotiate commercial agreements with suppliers to establish best-in-class pricing, quality, delivery, and service terms.
Partner with Engineering teams to influence technical design specifications and customize manufacturing requirements.
Monitor and manage supplier performance metrics including delivery, quality, cost, and innovation.
Provide technical direction and conduct regular technology reviews for executive leadership regarding product lifecycle strategies.

What we're looking for

Bachelor’s degree in supply chain, engineering, or a related technical field.
3+ years of experience in supply chain commodity management for cables, harnesses, connectors, capacitors manufacturing, and/or sourcing engineering.
Ability to travel up to approximately 50% of the time.
Ability to relocate to Costa Mesa, CA if not already local.
Bachelor's degree in electrical or mechanical engineering (preferred).
Previous experience in defense, aerospace, automotive, high tech, or related industries (preferred).
Proficiency in TCO analysis for data-driven component and supplier selection (preferred).
Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. TS clearance (preferred).
