The GHR AI Engineer – Agentic Integrations at Corporate Functions Technology is a senior-level position responsible for building and integrating employee-facing AI capabilities by connecting a custom React intranet experience to internal AI services and external vendor agents. This role involves developing Python services, APIs, and secure runtime patterns that enable agents to interact with tools and data sources safely. The ideal candidate should have strong Python fundamentals, API development skills, and practical experience with Model Context Protocol (MCP) and agent-to-agent collaboration. Key responsibilities include implementing agentic integration engineering, internal AI gateway connectivity, and ensuring security compliance while working closely with front-end engineers, solution architects, and cybersecurity teams to deliver scalable solutions that enhance employee experiences within the GHR domain.
Build and maintain MCP-based connectors for secure AI agent interactions.
Implement safe request routing patterns and error-handling standards for APIs.
Develop Python services to broker requests between the React intranet and agent runtimes.
Integrate knowledge sources while respecting access controls and data classification requirements.
Partner with Cybersecurity teams to ensure solutions meet enterprise security standards.
What we're looking for
3-5 years of hands-on software engineering experience with strong Python development skills.
Practical experience with REST APIs, JSON/schema-driven payloads, and OAuth/OIDC token handling.
Familiarity with Model Context Protocol (MCP) and agent-to-agent communication patterns.
Ability to build reliable integrations in complex enterprise environments with strong troubleshooting skills.
Experience implementing secure authentication, authorization, and auditing requirements for API integrations.
Excellent communication skills for partnering with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
