What you'll do

Develop and maintain features for the Apple Invites iOS application using Swift, SwiftUI, and UIKit.
Design, build, and maintain scalable backend services and APIs using Java, Go, or C++.
Implement data persistence and synchronization using CloudKit and SwiftData.
Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code that ensures high performance and reliability at scale.
Identify and fix bugs while addressing performance bottlenecks within the application.
Contribute to code quality through unit testing, integration testing, and peer code reviews.
Leverage generative AI tools and Apple Intelligence capabilities to accelerate development and improve code quality.
Build software from the ground up that preserves user privacy and meets high security standards.

What we're looking for

Candidates must have strong depth in either iOS or backend development with working familiarity in the other.
Professional experience developing iOS mobile applications using Swift and SwiftUI is required.
Working knowledge of the iOS SDK, including SwiftUI and UIKit, is required.
Professional experience building backend services in Java, Go, or C++ is required.
Experience with inter-service communication via REST APIs and/or gRPC is required.
Experience with unit testing and writing testable, maintainable code is required.
Hands-on experience using AI-assisted development tools in a professional engineering workflow is required.
Experience with CloudKit, SwiftData, or similar data persistence and synchronization technologies is required.
