What you'll do

Develop highly reliable software solutions used across various SpaceX operations.
Create new applications to improve internal manufacturing and operational workflows.
Build prototypes to validate design concepts and quantify technical constraints.
Manage all aspects of the software engineering lifecycle and product development.
Analyze user problems deeply to engineer efficient, high-performance solutions.
Participate in architectural discussions, system designs, and code reviews.

What we're looking for

Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, math, or a scientific discipline, or 2+ years of professional software experience.
Experience in full stack development.
Programming experience in Python, C#.NET, Go, Scala, Java, or similar object-oriented languages (preferred).
1+ years of rigorous experience building single page web applications (preferred).
Expertise in designing software systems and understanding of testing, CI/CD, build, deployment, and monitoring (preferred).
Experience with version control, build systems, package management tools, and UNIX-like operating systems (preferred).
Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, front-end frameworks like Angular or React, and database technologies like PostgreSQL (preferred).
Must be a U.S. citizen, national, lawful permanent resident, or eligible for required export control authorizations.
