Full-Stack Software Engineer, Device Telemetry

What you'll do

• Design, build, and iterate on stream processing and ingestion pipelines.
• Develop web backend services and REST APIs to process device telemetry.
• Parse and analyze diagnostic and usage data collected from Apple devices.
• Implement and maintain database systems using Postgres and Redis.
• Manage container-based orchestration using tools like Kubernetes or EC2.
• Capture and refine technical requirements in coordination with data scientists.
• Validate design decisions for data collection and compute infrastructure.
• Deploy and maintain software using CI/CD pipelines.

What we're looking for

• Bachelor of Science in Computer Science or relevant work experience.
• 3+ years experience implementing web apps and rest APIs.
• Extensive knowledge of databases like Postgres and/or cache layers like Redis.
• Proficiency with container-based orchestration such as Kubernetes, EC2, or Mesos.
• Familiarity with public cloud platforms like AWS, GCP, or Azure.
• Demonstrated commitment to CI/CD.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills (preferred).
• Exposure to UX frameworks like React, Angular, or Typescript (preferred).
