What you'll do

Develop highly reliable software solutions used across various SpaceX operations.
Create new applications to improve internal operational efficiency and manufacturing processes.
Build prototypes to validate design concepts and quantify technical constraints.
Take full ownership of all aspects of software engineering and product development.
Analyze user problems deeply to engineer and implement efficient technical solutions.
Participate in team collaborations regarding system architecture, design, and code reviews.

What we're looking for

Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, math, or a scientific discipline, or 2+ years of professional software experience.
Experience in full stack development.
Programming experience in Python, C#.NET, Go, Scala, Java, or similar object-oriented languages.
At least 1 year of experience building single page web applications.
Expertise in designing software systems and understanding testing, CI/CD, build, deployment, and monitoring.
Experience with version control, build systems (Make, Bazel, Gradle), and package management tools (pip, npm).
Experience with UNIX-like operating systems, infrastructure tools (Terraform, Ansible, Puppet), Docker, and Kubernetes.
Must be a U.S. citizen, national, lawful permanent resident, or eligible for required export control authorizations.
