What you'll do

Lead a portfolio of diverse technology projects and a team of developers focused on distributed microservices and full-stack systems.
Develop robust cloud-based solutions using Java, Python, Go, or Node.js to meet regulatory needs and improve customer experience.
Provide technical leadership across Agile teams by setting standards for design, development, and operational excellence.
Partner with architects to define service boundaries, integration patterns, and reusable frameworks.
Identify areas for improvement and perform targeted refactoring to reduce technical debt and enhance system performance.
Influence long-term technology strategy by evaluating emerging tools and practices in a "you build it, you own it" environment.
Mentor other members of the engineering community and drive professional development within technical teams.

What we're looking for

Bachelor's Degree or higher in Computer Science or a related quantitative field.
At least 4 years of experience in software engineering.
At least 2 years of experience with public cloud platforms, cloud-based productivity tools, or virtualization technologies.
Master’s Degree in Computer Science or a related quantitative field (preferred).
7+ years of experience coding with two or more of: Go, Java, JavaScript/TypeScript, Python, Rust, C#, or Scala (preferred).
4+ years of experience with distributed data/computing tools, real-time data streaming, and database management systems (preferred).
3+ years of experience with CI/CD pipelines, Infrastructure as Code, and Git-based version control (preferred).
Experience leading cross-functional engineering efforts, mentoring teams, and using AI-based coding assistants (preferred).
