The FP&A Manager will join the finance team to drive financial planning, analysis, and business partnership for the Marketing organization. This individual is responsible for managing the end-to-end marketing budget, including forecasting, budgeting, variance analysis, and monthly close support. The role involves serving as a primary advisor to leadership to optimize resource allocation across Brand, Demand Generation, and Product Marketing while preparing materials for Board of Directors meetings and quarterly business reviews. Key responsibilities include developing financial models to track spend effectiveness and integrating top-of-funnel metrics with pipeline data. Candidates must possess expertise in Excel, Google Sheets, PowerPoint, and AI tools to automate workflows. Experience with NetSuite or Adaptive is a plus. The role addresses the challenge of scaling marketing investments and transitioning toward an AI-first strategy within a high-growth SaaS environment.
Lead the financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting processes for the Marketing organization.
Serve as the primary finance advisor to Marketing leadership to optimize resource allocation and evaluate growth initiatives.
Manage the end-to-end marketing budget including monthly close support and variance analysis.
Develop and maintain financial models to track spend effectiveness, headcount, and project ROI.
Create presentation materials for Board of Directors meetings, quarterly business reviews, and leadership meetings.
Build integrated models with Marketing Operations to connect top-of-funnel activities to downstream revenue.
Partner with Revenue Operations and Accounting to align pipeline forecasts with the financial close process.
Implement AI tools and automation to reduce manual reconciliation work and increase analysis capacity.
What we're looking for
Applicants must be authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis.
Candidates must have 7+ years of experience in FP&A or Corporate Finance within a high-growth SaaS or technology environment.
Experience as a trusted finance partner supporting Marketing leadership in software or cloud businesses is highly preferred.
Candidates must possess strong analytical skills in forecasting, financial modeling, budgeting, and variance analysis.
Proficiency in using AI tools to automate FP&A workflows and reduce manual work is required.
Mastery of Excel/Google Sheets and PowerPoint/Google Slides is required.
Experience with FP&A tools like Adaptive or NetSuite and marketing planning tools like Allocadia or Uptempo is a plus.
Candidates must have excellent written and verbal communication skills to translate financial results into clear recommendations for diverse audiences.
