FLS Production Engineer, Mechatronics & Test Competency

What you'll do

• Provide direct support to production processes and troubleshoot electro-mechanical modules in a cleanroom environment.
• Troubleshoot multi-discipline test equipment involving hardware, software, electrical, and servo systems.
• Analyze Matlab runs and plot data from databases to support manufacturing needs.
• Evaluate test results and RGA data to ensure parts and modules meet contamination requirements.
• Develop OCAPs, Fishbones, and troubleshooting guidelines for production staff.
• Support the development of manufacturing procedures and technical work instructions.
• Perform root cause analysis for DOA and support PFMEA documentation.
• Evaluate and disposition failed parts with proposed technical solutions.

What we're looking for

• Must have a Bachelor of Science in Mechatronics (preferred) or Electrical or Mechanical Engineering.
• Must have 2+ years of experience in an engineering environment with a Bachelor of Science in Mechatronics, Electrical, or Mechanical Engineering.
• Must have a Master of Science in Mechatronics, Electrical, or Mechanical Engineering with 0+ years of experience in an engineering environment.
• Must be legally authorized to access controlled technology as defined by United States Export Administration Regulations.
• Must have working knowledge of Unix/Linux/Python/Matlab.
• Must have working knowledge of servo and mechatronic control systems and multi-disciplinary electro-mechanical assembly.
• Must have experience in a production environment with high-tech products and complex production processes.
• Experience in Lean Manufacturing, statistical process control, FMEA, or with NX, Teamcenter, and SAP is a plus (preferred).
