Join our dynamic team as a Flight Test Operator, where you will support the flight test operations of small uncrewed fixed-wing aircraft across various Altius programs. Your day-to-day responsibilities include assisting with system checkouts, flying missions, and providing feedback to enhance test engineering efforts. You’ll build and maintain autonomous aircraft, collaborate closely with Test Engineers on operational tasks, and assist in product installations at test sites. Additionally, you will manage office supplies, inventory, and equipment maintenance under the guidance of the Site Manager. This role requires RC or PIC experience with fixed-wing commercial and defense Group 2 aircraft, FAA Part 107 certification, knowledge of flight controllers, and strong communication skills. Familiarity with LiPO/LiON batteries and a background in aerospace engineering is preferred. Travel up to 60% of the time is expected as you contribute to changing industry standards through innovative testing solutions.
