What you'll do

Plan and execute system-level testing of hardware and software for the Altius UAS platform.
Conduct safety and risk analysis for all testing events to ensure compliance with regulations.
Manage configuration and fleet management of test assets, including hardware components and software configurations.
Generate evaluation test plans focusing on system functionality and integration efforts between software and hardware.
Interface daily with hardware and software engineering teams to adjudicate testing tasks and characterize issues.
Collect metrics for flight test events, including sortie information and delays, to report findings accurately.

What we're looking for

Bachelor’s degree in a related technical discipline from an accredited institution.
FAA Part 107 Small Unmanned Aircraft Systems certification or ability to acquire.
FAA Part 61 Certification (ground test complete) or equivalent experience.
Previous experience with National Airspace and UAS operating guidelines.
Strong software and hardware testing skills, including system-level T&E planning.
Methodical approach with excellent communication and detail-oriented mindset.
Ability to obtain a security clearance and travel as required for testing.
