What you'll do

Design and deploy automated test frameworks for Fitness and Activity features across watchOS and iOS.
Build tools to simulate real-world activity for repeatable and scalable fitness feature testing.
Integrate automated test suites into CI/CD pipelines to provide fast feedback on every build.
Maintain automation health by fixing flaky tests and updating coverage as features evolve.
Triage daily test failures to identify product regressions and file reproducible bug reports.
Investigate complex failures across devices and infrastructure to identify and resolve root causes.
Create dashboards and summaries to translate raw test data into clear quality signals for leadership.

What we're looking for

5+ years of relevant industry experience in software engineering, test automation, or a related role.
Strong computer science fundamentals, including object-oriented design.
Proficiency in Python or Swift with experience writing maintainable test automation or tooling.
Experience with automated testing frameworks (e.g., XCTest, XCUITest, pytest) and CI/CD systems.
Proven ability to triage failures and find root causes across software, devices, and infrastructure using logs and debugging tools.
Clear written and verbal communication skills to turn technical findings into actionable bug reports and summaries.
Hands-on experience building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines and version control systems (preferred).
Experience with SQL, relational databases, and automating physical devices in a test lab (preferred).
