Finance D&A Developer III

What you'll do

• Design and implement complex procedures to process data using computer systems and programming techniques.
• Evaluate new or modified programs to determine feasibility, resource requirements, and compatibility with current systems.
• Detect, correct, test, and document coded instructions for various programs and databases.
• Plan and direct modifications to programs to resolve data, database, system, or report problems.
• Consult with management and analysts to clarify program intent and identify necessary coding requirements.
• Develop and manage advanced objects including stored procedures, user-defined functions, and automated production processes.
• Recommend data sources and methods for visualizing and validating data accuracy.
• Approve specifications for databases, technical solutions, and reports while ensuring performance and security.

What we're looking for

• A degree in Computer Science or a related field plus 5 years of experience, or 9 years of relevant experience in lieu of a degree.
• 5 years of experience in data analysis.
• 5 years of experience with SQL or other relational database systems tools.
• 5 years of experience in solution development and programming.
• Clear and concise verbal and written communication skills along with planning and organizational skills.
• Advanced experience in iterative application development and intermediate abilities in data technology like BI or DB platforms.
• Experience with Teradata, SQL Server, ETL development, stored procedures, triggers, or claims data (preferred).
