ESD & CAD Design Manager

What you'll do

• Oversee CAD flow development and the integration of ESD protection principles into the design phase.
• Manage staff, projects, and the implementation of internal/external tools for automation and modeling.
• Supervise, train, and mentor team members on core application skills and advanced design techniques.
• Establish and document ESD design guidelines and best practices for product development.
• Review and approve electronic designs to ensure compliance with ESD standards and mitigate risks.
• Conduct design-level ESD analysis and simulations to predict and prevent potential failures.
• Evaluate and implement emerging CAD and ESD technologies to optimize departmental productivity.

What we're looking for

• Must have a Master's degree in Engineering or a similar field.
• Requires overall ESD and CAD experience.
• Requires management experience.
• Must possess advanced proficiency in multiple CAD software platforms including Cadence Virtuoso, Synopsys Primetime, and others.
• Must be proficient in scripting languages such as Perl and Python.
• Must have a solid understanding of ESD fundamentals, physics, principles, electronics design, and safety procedures.
• Must have experience with file management systems, version control, and data management for CAD applications.
• Must possess strong leadership, project management, and professional communication skills.
