What you'll do

Oversee the development and maintenance of CAD flows, including PERC and PathFinder.
Manage CAD project teams, staff performance, and work assignments to ensure operational excellence.
Implement and manage internal and external tools for design automation, modeling, and IP releases.
Establish and document ESD design guidelines and best practices for product development.
Review electronic designs for ESD compliance and recommend modifications to mitigate risks.
Conduct design-level ESD analysis and simulations to predict and prevent component failures.
Train and mentor team members on core application skills, advanced design techniques, and software updates.
Evaluate and integrate emerging CAD and ESD technologies into existing workflows.

What we're looking for

MS in Engineering or similar degree.
At least twelve (12+) years of overall ESD & CAD experience.
At least three (3+) years of management experience.
Advanced proficiency in multiple CAD software platforms including Cadence Virtuoso, Synopsys Primetime, and Ansys Seascape/Redhawk/Totem PathFinder.
Proficiency in common scripting languages like Perl and Python.
EDA specific languages like Skill and TCL are a plus (preferred).
Solid understanding of electrostatic discharge (ESD) fundamentals, physics, electronics design, and safety procedures.
Experience with file management systems, version control, and data management systems for CAD applications.
