Preferred skills include proficiency in Tableau or Visio and professional certifications such as CISSP, CISA, PMP, or CISM to manage complex IT environments and mitigate identified security risks.

What you'll do

  • Maintain an accurate and prioritized risk register for assigned business units.
  • Track risk buy-down commitments including owners, dates, and status updates.
  • Flag any slippage in risk mitigation timelines to the responsible Business Information Security Officer.
  • Prepare recurring stakeholder materials such as status decks, dashboards, and executive read-outs.
  • Coordinate meetings between security officers, business unit customers, and specialist teams.
  • Capture action items from meetings and drive necessary follow-up tasks.

What we're looking for

  • You must have at least 3 years of experience in consulting or a large corporate environment with a complex IT environment.
  • You must have a strong understanding of security internal control methodologies and terminology, such as COSO and Cybersecurity Framework (CSF).
  • You must be able to identify and articulate key security risks and develop controls to mitigate them.
  • You must have experience implementing and testing security controls based on the NIST SP 800-53 standard.
  • Experience designing and implementing internal controls in response to identified risks is preferred.
  • Experience with data and reporting tools such as Tableau or Visio is preferred.
  • Holding a CISSP, CISA, PMP, or CISM certification is preferred.
