The Enterprise Cybersecurity Vulnerability Analyst, Senior joins the internal Enterprise Cybersecurity team to identify and remediate security misconfigurations and vulnerabilities across the corporate network. This role involves utilizing enterprise-level scanning tools to ensure patches are applied within defined SLA levels while serving as a primary resource for client-facing and internal support teams. The position requires collaborating in a Cyber Fusion Center environment to analyze emerging threats and performing direct outreach to affected systems for rapid remediation. Key technical requirements include experience with Windows and UNIX system administration, cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform, and tools such as Tenable Cloud Security, Tenable Security Center, and Splunk. Candidates must possess knowledge of networking protocols including TCP, IP, UDP, HTTP, HTTPS, SSH, and DNS, along with familiarity with OWASP standards.
Use enterprise scanning tools to identify internal and external vulnerabilities and security misconfigurations.
Validate that patches and mitigations are implemented within defined SLA levels.
Serve as a technical resource for client-facing and internal support teams regarding vulnerability management.
Perform direct outreach to affected environments to ensure rapid remediation of identified risks.
Analyze emerging threats and their potential impacts on the global enterprise.
Provide metrics and KPIs to operational teams and senior leadership.
Manage and secure resources across cloud platforms including AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform.
What we're looking for
4+ years of experience in a vulnerability analyst role including identifying and remediating cloud vulnerabilities and misconfigurations.
2+ years of experience with Windows and UNIX system administration.
Experience managing, deploying, and securing resources within AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform.
Experience with Tenable Cloud Security and Tenable Security Center.
Knowledge of basic networking protocols including TCP, IP, UDP, HTTP, HTTPS, SSH, and DNS.
Ability to obtain a Secret clearance.
Associate's degree and 7+ years experience, Bachelor's and 5+ years experience, Master's and 3+ years experience, or 10+ years experience in lieu of a degree.
Experience with scanning software (Tenable, Nessus, Qualys), Splunk, OWASP, or GSEC/GMON/GCIA/Security+ certifications (preferred); Bachelor's in Computer Science (preferred).
