Enterprise Architect - Fraud Domain, Director serves as a senior technology leader within the COO Technology organization. This role is responsible for designing and executing the target-state architecture vision, technology roadmap, and delivery strategy for the global Fraud Technology portfolio. The individual will work to standardize, simplify, and scale a fragmented fraud application landscape while mapping end-to-end journeys for use cases like transaction monitoring and identity theft. Key responsibilities include portfolio rationalization, developing architectural blueprints, and integrating advanced technologies such as AWS cloud infrastructure, Generative AI, and Agentic AI solutions to enable real-time fraud decisioning. The role requires expertise in fraud detection systems, authentication, and authorization. The position addresses the complex challenge of balancing robust security controls with a seamless customer experience across various regions and channels while managing high-throughput fraud investigation workflows.
Define and maintain the multi-year technology roadmap and target-state architecture for the global Fraud domain.
Consolidate and rationalize fragmented fraud applications across different regions, channels, and business lines.
Map and document end-to-end fraud journeys to ensure seamless integration of security controls into customer experiences.
Lead the integration of cloud infrastructure, Generative AI, and Agentic AI solutions for fraud detection and investigation.
Evaluate emerging technologies, machine learning models, and vendor platforms to drive continuous innovation in fraud systems.
Serve as a strategic advisor on architecture, risk, and controls to ensure compliance with regulatory mandates.
Lead Architecture Review Boards and design governance forums to ensure projects meet engineering standards.
Provide technical mentorship to solution architects and deliver executive-level communications regarding portfolio updates and risks.
What we're looking for
Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience is required.
Master's degree is preferred.
15+ years of relevant experience in technology with a track record in Enterprise Architecture or senior Solution Architecture roles within global financial institutions.
Experience delivering fraud technology at major global banks or leading fraud technology vendors.
Expertise in fraud detection systems, transaction monitoring, authentication, authorization, identity verification, and Single Sign-On (SSO).
Experience with cloud technologies, specifically AWS (preferred), and relevant cloud certifications are a plus.
Experience adopting Generative AI, Agentic AI, and machine learning models in enterprise production environments.
TOGAF or equivalent enterprise architecture certification is preferred.
