As a Vice President, Software Engineering, you will join the team to develop, enhance, support, and maintain software solutions for global business operations. You will manage the full software development lifecycle, including requirements gathering, user story refinement, testing, and deployment while designing scalable technology solutions using internal and open-source services. The role involves identifying innovative technologies to transform financial businesses and internal platforms while providing guidance to junior team members. Key technical competencies include proficiency in Java, C#, Go, JavaScript, TypeScript, or React within a Unix environment. You will work with Spring, Hibernate, .Net, Nodejs, RabbitMQ, or Kafka, and manage databases like Postgres, Oracle, or MongoDB. What we're looking for
A Master's degree in a relevant engineering or information systems field and three years of experience in software engineering is required.
A Bachelor's degree in a relevant engineering or information systems field and five years of experience in software engineering is required.
Experience with at least 5 of the following: Java, C#, Go, JavaScript, TypeScript, React, Spring, Hibernate, .Net, Nodejs, RabbitMQ, or Kafka.
Experience with full software development lifecycle including requirements gathering, design, coding, testing, documentation, deployment, and production support.
Experience building multi-threaded and multi-process service-oriented enterprise applications within a Unix environment.
Experience with relational database management systems such as Postgres or Oracle.
Experience with micro-services architecture design and development using REST, Spring, or other back-end technologies.
Experience with SQL or NoSQL technologies like MongoDB, and building solutions in cloud providers including AWS, Azure, or GCP.
