What you'll do

Participate in all phases of the design and development lifecycle for analytic applications and reporting tools.
Maintain active relationships with customers to determine and analyze business requirements.
Code and maintain complex components of information systems using various BI technology platforms.
Mentor other engineers on coding standards and perform regular code reviews.
Develop and execute system testing, fix defects, and re-run unit tests to validate results.
Manage small projects and serve as a subject matter expert for specific Business Intelligence applications.
Prepare functional and technical specifications while defining application scope and objectives.
Create training documentation and identify opportunities for process improvements or enhancements.

What we're looking for

A BA/BS degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field of study is required.
At least 5 years of related experience is required.
Experience working with multi-dimensional platforms and business and technical applications is required.
Experience with multiple Business Intelligence tools, databases, languages, or business applications (preferred).
Experience mentoring others, leading small projects, and providing troubleshooting support (preferred).
Proficiency in front-end libraries like Angular, ReactJS, or Vue (preferred).
Strong understanding of database engines such as Postgres, SQL Server, Oracle, or MySQL (preferred).
Understanding of cloud services like AWS Redshift, Databricks, or Snowflake (preferred).
