Northrop Grumman Defense Systems seeks an Engineer Liaison at Level 3 or Level 4 to serve as the primary PLM support contact, coaching engineers on data entry, change management, and analytics while ensuring compliance with configuration-management standards. This role involves creating change notices, analyzing PLM data for process improvements, enhancing data pipelines, and generating reports for engineering teams and managers. The liaison will work closely with Integrated Product Teams to manage aged change notices and maintain prioritization trackers. Ideal candidates should have a STEM degree combined with relevant experience, familiarity with PLM/PDM systems like Agile PLM or Teamcenter, and strong communication skills. Preferred qualifications include active DoD Secret clearance, knowledge of data visualization tools such as Tableau, and industry experience in military, government, or commercial aerospace sectors.
Provide deskside PLM support and coaching on data entry, change management, and analytics.
Create and assist in creating change notices (CNs) and work with signatories to reduce aged CNs.
Analyze PLM data and produce graphs/metrics for process improvements.
Enhance data pipelines to minimize manual effort and error rates.
Serve as liaison for engineering hand-offs, ensuring clarity, compliance, and timely execution.
What we're looking for
Bachelor’s degree in STEM and 5+ years of relevant experience (Level 3) or 8+ years (Level 4)
Experience with PLM/PDM systems like Agile PLM, Teamcenter, CMPro, Windchill
Understanding of EIA-649, MIL-HDBK-61A, and ASME standards
Ability to read and follow engineering artifacts such as models, drawings, specifications
Strong written and verbal communication skills for technical presentations
Capability to obtain and maintain a U.S. Department of Defense Secret security clearance
